Donation Intake SimulationMy RoleInstructional Designer
Scenario Writer
Interaction Designer
Visual DesignerAbout this projectA branching, scenario-based simulation that prepares new frontline donation-center associates for a full intake shift before they face a real donor. It targets first-week retail/nonprofit staff who have to read a grieving donor, decline an item without losing goodwill, de-escalate an angry drop-off, and catch a safety hazard mid-lift — judgment calls the policy binder can't rehearse.Learners can- Navigate six branching donor conversations, each scored best / workable / reconsider with instant coaching
- Use an in-world policy lookup to apply real intake rules in the moment
- Complete two tap-to-find triage activities to catch safety hazards before they become incidents
- Play out a true branching path that resolves three different ways depending on their choices
- Write an open coaching response, auto-scored against a four-part rubric
- Track their performance across a five-dimension competency dashboard, earning badges and a final ratingToolsHTML/CSS/JavaScript (custom-built), Claude, ChatGPT (scene imagery), Google Fonts

UX DevelopmentAbout this projectA 10-minute, AI-powered conversation simulation that turns first-day onboarding into active practice. The learner plays a new hire who has a few minutes with their Team Lead, "Jordan," and has to lead the conversation, the answers aren't handed over. To succeed, they ask the right questions and discover all 8 first-week essentials: arrival time, where to report, dress code, required IDs, Team Lead contact, first-week schedule, Paycom setup, and benefits. It closes with a self-reflection and a personalized coaching summary on what they surfaced and what they missed. Fully bilingual (English/Spanish), with optional voice and accessibility controls.Learners can- Practice a realistic first-day conversation in a safe, low-stakes space
- Drive the dialogue and learn by asking, no passive click-through
-mGet real-time, in-character responses from an AI Team Lead
- Track progress against 8 onboarding essentials as they go
- Reflect on their confidence and open questions before finishing
- Receive personalized coaching feedback on what they covered
- Switch between English and Spanish, with optional spoken responses and reduced-motion modeToolsClaude, Chat GPT (images, conversational AI + adaptive feedback)

What Is Adventure Tourism? Interactive eLearning ModuleMy Role
Instructional Designer
Scenario Writer
Storyline Developer
Visual DesignerAbout this projectThis module teaches new hospitality and tourism professionals to see adventure travel as a spectrum, not a stereotype — from a quiet cenote swim to a deep-sea dive.Built on UNWTO and Skift travel research, it uses cinematic photography and one-concept-per-screen design (Mayer's Multimedia Principles) so learners feel the category before they classify it.Learners can
- Define adventure tourism and its Hard vs. Soft spectrum
- Match traveler types to the right experience category
- Apply the framework to real itinerary designTools

360° Interactive Alligator Habitat ExhibitMy Role: Instructional designer and builder — content architecture, spatial design, hotspot placement, multimedia integration, and buildAbout this project
Habitat learning is inherently spatial — where an alligator positions itself relative to water, vegetation, and prey isn't a fact you can convey in a bullet point. It's something you have to see from inside the space.Rather than building a narrated tour, I designed the experience as exploration. Hotspots are embedded at natural sightlines — the spots a curious visitor's eye would travel first — so interaction feels like discovery rather than instruction. I kept audio ambient rather than narration-heavy, creating the sensation of being near a real habitat without replicating a classroom lecture inside a 360° shell.Learners can
- Navigate a fully immersive 360° habitat environment at their own pace
- Discover species facts and behavior through spatial exploration, not lecture
- Build a mental model of habitat relationships — how alligators position themselves relative to water, vegetation, and preyTools

About
I believe that great training should feel like a story worth following.
I came to Instructional Design through: international business, human resources, and a deep belief that the way people learn changes everything.I bring together research-based design models like ADDIE and SAM with storytelling, visual thinking, and genuine curiosity about how people grow.I have Master's in Instructional Technology and Design at Full Sail University, and a Master's in International Human Resource Management from Grenoble École de Management. In my spare time, I love to travel, paint, go sailing, attend art shows, and write fiction. If you're looking for a designer who takes the craft seriously and brings something unexpected to every project, let's connect.
